Unity in Diversity: Highlights from Culture Day at Saint George's
Tuesday, 22nd October, was a vibrant and joyous day at Saint George's C of E School as we celebrated Culture Day. This special event gave our students the opportunity to showcase and experience the diverse cultures that enrich our community. From colourful cultural dresses to rich and delicious food, the day highlighted the uniqueness of each tradition and the strength found in our differences.
Leading up to the event, our students and staff put their hearts into sharing their various countries of origin in a video that was displayed throughout the school. They talked about the incredible landscapes of their countries, amazing cuisine, unique cultural practices and more. Each presentation was a testament to our school's rich tapestry of cultures at Saint George's and our local community.
A heartfelt appreciation goes out to everyone who helped make this event a success. From the organisers who planned and coordinated the activities to the participants who enthusiastically represented their backgrounds, your efforts brought our community together in a meaningful way.
